I joined Wayne State University in 1998 as a faculty member of the Hematology/Oncology division of the Department of Internal Medicine. In 2002, I joined the Karmanos cancer Institute as a faculty member (Primary appointment) while continuing to serve the Department of Internal Medicine Hematology/Oncology division (secondary appointment). As a faculty member I have focused on achieving success in three traditional areas of academia; research, teaching and service.
