Medical oncologist and assistant professor of Medicine at Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Marshall University in West Virginia. Dr. Alsharedi specializes in hematological malignancy and solid tumors with a focus on breast, gastrointestinal and lung Cancers.He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tripoli University in Libya in 2004. Alsharedi completed his internal medicine residency training and fellowship at Marshall University.
Dr. Alsharedi is a board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.He is a member of several professional societies, he is a fellow of American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American society of hematology.He presented several posters and oral presentations in medical conferences including National Comprehensive Cancer Network Conference in which his work was recognized by American Society of Clinical Oncology Journal (ASCO Post).He has many scientific publications in prestigious medical journals, his research interest and publications focus on immunotherapy in cancers, pancreatic cancer, breast cancers and chemotherapy toxicities in germ cell tumors & breast cancer.
