Dr. Ignazio Tasca graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1981 and then specialized in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Pathology in 1985.
At the beginning of his professional training he devoted himself to diagnostic paths (allergology, rhinomanometry, acoustic rhinometry, polysomnography). Not neglecting the knowledge of all branches of the Specialty, over the years he has paid particular attention - developing surgical skills - to the problems of the nose, larynx, thyroid, salivary glands and snoring disorders.
He has considerable experience in functional, endoscopic and aesthetic nose surgery. He deals with snoring surgery. He is interested in thyroid surgery for neoplastic forms. For benign and malignant pathologies of the larynx, use the CO2 laser where indicated, reserving traditional surgery for more complex cases. Surgically treats benign and malignant salivary gland pathologies.
ACADEMIC ACTIVITY
He has dedicated scientific interests to Rhinology and the problems associated with Snoring. Interested in diagnostics ( allergology, rhinomanometry , acoustic rhinometry, polysomnography) and in the functional and aesthetic surgery of the nose.
For these issues is invited to conferences and congresses all over the world.
