Radana Kahankova was born in 1991 in Opava, Czech Republic. She received her Bachelor’s degree at the VSB–Technical University of Ostrava, the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering in 2014. Two years later at the same department, she received her Master’s degree in the ?eld of Biomedical Engineering. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Technical Cybernetics. Her current research is focused on improving the quality of electronic fetal monitoring. In 2016, she became a Copy editor in ADVANCES IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING (AEEE) journal. In 2018 she attended 6months internship at the Department of Bioengineering at University of Texas Arlington focused on Sleep Apnea detection and analysis.
Research interests: Electronic fetal monitoring (fECG, fPCG, CTG, etc.) and associated signal processing methods, Sleep Apnea
