Biography

Anna Dolcimascolo was born in Enna on the 20th of February 1993, but since 2012 she lives in Catania. She attended the scientific high school “Pietro Farinato” in Enna and she graduated top of her class in Pharmacy at University of Catania. Her degree thesis about de-regulation of microRNA in thyroid tumors is nominated for the prize awarded by the Pharmacists' Order of Catania. She started her research activity at Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences (BIOMETEC), University of Catania, Via Santa Sofia, 89, 95123, Catania (CT), Italy. Her research interests are related to microRNA profile in cancer and Regenerative medicine strategies applied to osteo-chondral regeneration.
