Biography

Dr. Vural has won a Science Award by being among the top 100 researchers and scientists. The IBC top 100 Scientists and Educators 2011, Cambridge-England. Dr. Vural has participated in international courses related to her field in 1997, 2000 and 2002 respectively. DNA Technologies, Swansea, England, Gene Manuplation and Genomics, Western Michigan State, USA and Cancer Research, Hawaii Cancer Research Center. Dr. Vural has a number of national/international publications and research as well as lessons for undergraduate and graduate students. She has written international book and book chapters. She is editor and referee in the international journals. The university has received official duties for industrial cooperation, domestic and international consulting, expertise and representation at UNESCO meetings. She has also worked on many scientific projects.

Research Interest

Molecular modeling studies on cancer molecular biology and epigenetic mechanisms, genomic and metabolic pathways. Plant, animal, human, microorganism, tissue, blood, hair, forensic medicine as well as organic substances isolated from archaeological remains, archaeometry, biological anthropology. Gene manipulation, identification of gene expressions related to diseases, mutation detection, cell culture studies, apopitosis and cancer developmet, siRNA, miRNA, and the many metabolic and necrotic pathway studies and on living and ancient DNA assays and OMIC technologies.
