Dr. Samuels has over a decade of professional experience conducting institutional research and evaluation in higher education organizations. He is currently the Manager of Evaluation at the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research at the University of Michigan Medical School. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal for Clinical & Translational Science and Higher Education, and is a member of national and regional professional associations for higher education administrators, evaluators and researchers. He has been an evaluator and principal investigator on federal and institutional grants and has served as a consultant for higher education organizations and the U.S. Department of Education.
