Parmodh Sharma is a Senior Statistician/Statistical Programmer working with PVR Technologies, Inc., USA. He received his B.S. (Agriculture) and M.S. (Soil Science) from Punjab Agricultural University, India. He received another M.S. (Applied Statistics) and Ph.D. (Plant and Environmental Sciences) from New Mexico State University, USA. He has more than 15 year’s research experience in Soils and Agronomy. He is serving as a reviewer for several prominent agriculture journals. He is a member of Soil Science Society of America, Crop Science Society of America, American Society of Agronomy, and Sigma Xi Society. Currently he is working on statistical modeling in Plant and Life Sciences field.
Research interest:
Parmodh Sharma is interested in continuing his research efforts in soil and water resources management in water-limited and irrigated agricultural production systems, as well as other natural and managed ecosystems. His research interests particularly focus on applied soil physics, soil-water-plant-atmosphere relationships, spatial and temporal variability of soil properties, nitrogen leaching, irrigation systems, Water use efficiency, Nutrient use efficiency, under different land use and management systems at multiple scales.
