Patricia Myriam Vuguin currently and associate professor at Columbia University Medical .I have trained as Pediatric Endocrinologist with a record of achievement in both the clinical and the laboratory arenas. My Curriculum Vitae indicates my lifelong devotion to scientific and medical knowledge. I finished a Masters of Science Training Program in Clinical Research, a NIH-funded program offered by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I also rounded out my education with a strong basic science program. I have almost 20 years’ experience researching the developmental origins of health and disease, diabetes and novel biochemical mechanisms by which glucagon affect pancreatic islet cell differentiation and maturation. I am currently the director of the Pediatric Thyroid Center and the Pediatric endocrine fellowship program at Columbia University.
