Dr. Korolenko has over twenty years of experience in medical services including leadership positions at Dept. of Health, Kyiv Regional State Administration, at Executive apparatus of Kyiv Regional Council, and educational positions at the National O.O.Bogomolets Medical University. As the lecturer and executive at Ukrainian "Znannya" (Knowledge) Society he was honored with the 2008 Gold Medal.
He founded Club of Kyiv, a non-profit NGO in social services, which focuses on policy and development counseling for government bodies and other NGOs. He has been an editor, a member of editorial boards and reviewer for a number of scientific medical joutnals.
