Dr. Minkyung Park is the Dean of Administration at George Mason University Korea (GMU Korea George Mason Universitys global campus in Songdo, Korea. She formulates policies and strategies as well as plans and directs administrative and operational activities in support of the campus management, development, and growth. Before taking on this role, she had served as Acting Assistant Vice President for International Campus Operations in the Office of Global Strategy, George Mason University. She led Masons Korea campus planning efforts since 2010 and was responsible for coordinating operations between two campuses. She is also an Associate Professor of Tourism and Events Management at the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), George Mason University. Dr. Parks research interest is twofold: (1) specialized in the area of social impacts of tourism and visitor management in tourism and recreation settings, and (2) the area of international education and internationalization of higher education specifically focusing on the development and management of overseas campuses.
